I had Safelite Auto Glass come to repair a chip in my windshield. Instead of reapiring it, it is now beyond repair. He told me that the pressure of the injection of the epoxy caused it split. I can see that both splits angle down and it is at the very bottom of my windshield. My question is two-fold.
First: I was told the repair “may not take”. To me, this is not, the repair may cause further damage to your windshield. What is the likelihood of this occurance?
Second: Since the ***** is completely out of my line of vision, can I just leave it for now? Is it dangerous to leave it? The repairman told me it won’t implode or anything, it’s just unsightly.
Please let me know if the further damage is normal or if someone thinks the repairman screwed up.

I’ve been having problems with the wipers in my 1998 Jimmy. They work, but badly. Delay doesn’t always work…if I try to use delay, sometimes the wipers function in the low or high mode, but not delay. When I turn them off, they will keep going for a minute or two, and then stop in the middle of the windshield. It’s getting annoying, and since I don’t have a warranty, I’m looking to repair them myself. Could it be the motor or the relay? I’m not sure where to start first. I’d appreciate any responses!

It’s on a vintage television. It’s not the picture tube but a transparent gray protective piece of plastic. I know with broken windshields they buff in tiny particles of glass to make the ***** disappear. Do you know what I could use on plastic and remember pastic melts when heated

I had my windshield replaced last week (Wednesday). On Thursday there was a ***** about 12 inches along the bottom of the windshield going horizontally. I noticed that at the end of the ***** there is a hairline ***** that curves and extends down to the bottom of the windshield (I don’t know how far because it is covered by the molding). Nothing hit the windshield to make it ***** and I did not drive the vehicle for 16 hrs after it was installed. Will this be covered under the replacement warranty? I used Safelite. When reading the warranty, it says that stress cracks are not covered, is this a stress *****? Could a stress ***** have happened this fast to the windshield? There is a tech comeing out on Wednesday to check to see if this is a stress ***** or if something hit the window. I want to be prepared for what he tells me. Give me your opinion, please.
